This policy applies to all information collected or submitted in TaskFrame for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and any other Apple platforms.

Overview

Privacy is a core value of TaskFrame. The app is designed to collect the minimum data necessary to make the experience great. Analytics are anonymized so they cannot be tied back to you, and your personal data is never sold.

What data we collect

Analytics

TaskFrame uses TelemetryDeck to collect basic, anonymized information about how the app is used. This may include:

  • High-level feature usage (e.g., which screens are opened or actions taken)
  • Device type and operating system version
  • App version and basic runtime diagnostics (e.g., errors)

TelemetryDeck does not collect information that directly identifies you. Signals are pseudonymous and are not combined in a way that would identify who you are. Learn more in the TelemetryDeck privacy policy.

Payment data

Paid features and subscriptions are processed by Apple. TaskFrame uses RevenueCat to manage trials and subscriptions. Payment details are handled by Apple and are never shared with TaskFrame or RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives only anonymized identifiers necessary to manage your purchase entitlements. See the Apple privacy policy and the RevenueCat privacy policy.

Data synchronisation

Your data can sync across your devices using Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit and iCloud Key-Value Store). Only the data required to power sync is stored in your private iCloud container, associated with your Apple ID, such as task content, metadata, and certain settings. This data is under your control in iCloud and is not accessible to TaskFrame.

Email

If you contact support, your email and the contents of your message will be retained to respond to your request. These emails are not used for marketing.

What we do with your data

Collected information is used to improve TaskFrame, diagnose issues, and provide support. Analytics are not used to identify you, and analytics data is not combined with other datasets in a way that would identify who you are.

Where your data is processed

iCloud data is stored by Apple according to your region and Apple’s policies. Analytics and subscription data may be processed and stored by our service providers in other countries. Information may therefore be processed outside of the country in which you are located.

How we protect your data

TaskFrame minimizes the data it collects, relies on Apple’s secure services for storage and payments, and uses access controls and industry-standard safeguards to protect information while processed and stored.

Third-party services

TaskFrame uses the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:

Information may be disclosed if required by law, to enforce rights, or to protect users. Trusted service providers only process data on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations.

Opt-out rights

You may opt out of analytics collection if an in-app setting is provided. Otherwise, you can stop data collection by uninstalling the app. Standard uninstall processes for your device and the App Store apply.

Data retention

Support emails are retained as long as needed to address your request. Analytics data is retained by our providers according to their policies and only in aggregated or pseudonymous form. iCloud data persists in your Apple account until you delete it.

Children’s privacy

TaskFrame is not designed for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us to request deletion.
